ANNUAL OPPENING DAY CEREMONY - mONDAY, jULY 1ST 2013

"On Monday, July 1st, 2013 Adeline Ortiz, the Founder and President of Latino Academic Success Consultants will provide the keynote address to over 150 minority students, their parents and faculty at the Annual Opening Day of the Proyecto Access Summer Camp Program, housed in Hostos Community College in the Bronx.

The program is designed to identify social and economically disadvantaged middle and high school students with the potential to become scientists and engineers. The Proyecto Access Program encourages the participation of achieving women and minority students, so that they will continue through college graduation with majors in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math-based disciplines (STEM Programs).

Ms. Ortiz, who was raised in a single-parent home in the South Bronx, states "I can relate to the obstacles that these kids face, and Latino Academic Success is here to support them in every step of their journey!"

Ms. Ortiz formed LASC in response to the alarming dropout rates for minority students. For more information about LASC's wonderful programs or to make a donation, please visit www.LatinoAcademicSuccess.com.
